I've had a lot of acne in the past for a lot of years. Fortunately, it was very superficial. Now, in the middle of the cheeks, I have very very minimal (barely visible) scars, and the pores in my nose seem to have became bigger.
I would like to get rid of the scars completely, or make them even less visible, and to make the pores in my nose smaller. I know new improved lasers appear on the market frequently, and I would like to know which one would be the correct one for this condition along with which results can be achieved as to 2008.
I am asking for laser treatments. Fading creams and that type of stuff don't seem to really work for me.Acne scar removal by laser treatment 2008?
I have acne scars from moderate acne over many years too. And I have been researching the use of laser resurfacing for treating these acne scars just today.
I came across a website with a lot of laser treatments with before and after photos that you may find useful:

Since I am not an expert in this area, I won't be able to say which would be the best option for your particular case. You should consult with a professional before you decide.
But for me, the Fraxel laser procedure looks very promising:

For reducing pores, consider the Smoothbeam procedure:

See this article for an idea of the cost:

Here is an update:
The latest development is called the MiXto Micro Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing:

See this video for the benefits:

only 1 treatment is required with minimal recovery time.
but it's the most expensive procedure.
Hope that helps.
