Bio oil is really good for acne scars and stretch mark scars. It is an oil but its quite dry so doesnt make you feel greasy. Alternatively if you have the money try microdermabrasion as this will remove scar tissue.

This type of scar is know as a ';Keloid'; scar and some people just tend to scar that way. For normal scars, I have had very good results with ';Concha Nacar';. I live in Mexico, so it麓s easy to find here. It麓s made from the Mother of Pearl inside shells. If you have a Mexican community in your town, I麓m sure there would be a grocery store that carries Mexican things. Or try a health food store or homeopathic pharmacy. I don麓t know if it will work on a Keloid Scar (as far as I know, these require surgical removal), but it麓s worth a try if you can find it. Good luck!
If the scar if fairly fresh. Like not years old, than try fish oil. You can get it at an drug store.
If it is large plastic surgery would help. You will always have some scar, though. The makers of Neosporin make a cream for scars. It may be better than cocoabutter.
