Are you talking about ice pick scars or hyperpimented scars with some dermal damage??? B/C with the ice pick scarring it is very hard to remove. You will want to look into what is called ';needling';. It is where a licenced practicioner works over your face and pokes superficial holes (very very tiny) into the dermis creating the dermis to, in a sense, think it is wounded and start healing~~ Which tightens up and plumps up the face SO MUCH you will be like HOLY *#!#!!!! It works amazing but you want someone who is really good. Alot of the times permanent makeup artists (I am one) are licenced. Also estheticians, dermatologists and plastic surgeons maybe aswell.
Ok so if you are looking for hyperpigmented scarring I recommend IPL's aka intense pulse light. In terms of hyerpigmentation a photofacial will work wonders for that. Usually you can get a package of 5 sessions for around $1000. Or go session by session but you will probebly need more than one and even if you dont you will LOVE the results and want to go back for more.
If you have minor pit scars you should go in for some microdermabrasion. 5 sessions. Most med spas offer this along side with a chemical peel and this will wipe out your scars in no time.
ADVICE:::::::make sure you KNOW who you are going to. If you are going to do laser. DO NOT TAN!~~~~ I REPEAT!!!!~~~~ DO NOT TAN. This means for at least 5 weeks before a procedure. Most lasers are designed to ';go after pigment'; and that means melanin.
